Gelukskinders Foundation

Playground opened Dan Tloome primary

For those who can still keep up with it all; in recent years, Gelukskinders has regularly had Dan Tloome school in its sights, but every time something else came up. In 2022, funds have been raised for this school so that it too will receive playground equipment from Gelukskinders.

Existing devices, Repaired and painted. Looking nice again.

There was one slide, a seesaw, a swing and a wooden climbing frame. Just enough for one class to play there, although some of the equipment needed minor repairs and a fresh coat of paint. Gelukskinders added two Two Tower Gyms and three swings. Now all three classes can use the play equipment at the same time.

In the photos, you can also see games painted on the ground. These were already there and are a huge inspiration for Gelukskinders to implement something like this elsewhere in the future. Wednesday 23 October was the day. The children of the Dan Tloome school witnessed a festive opening of their new playground. Again, very disciplined children. All sat neatly on chairs in a circle. Some treats and, of course, a drinking cup for everyone. Then the children could finally start using their new playground equipment…. Another enjoyable day for everyone involved.

By the way, did you know that Gelukskinders guarantees maintenance of all playgrounds? A huge expense by now with so many playgrounds. Yet Gelukskinders considers this extremely important. Generations of children can continue to use the equipment. Jolly Jungle Gym repairs if necessary, Gelukinders paints. The material is certified steel. This way, everything lasts much longer. Most of all, Amira’s name is on all Gelukskinders playgrounds. And that stands for quality. Also in the long run.
All sponsors THANK YOU.
