Two years after opening Amira’s first playground in Ikageng, the second playground will be opened in the coming month. The new playground will be built at the Sizamele Primary School, a farm school near Rysmierbult in the South African North-West province. For the playground opening in July, Amira and part of the Board of Gelukskinders will travel to South Africa.
At the time of writing, everything is being prepared for installation of the playground. The opening is currently scheduled for the last week of July.
Besides opening her second playground, Amira will also do a number of working visits, such as the North West University in Potchefstroom and her first playground, Amira Park in Ikageng.
Amira will also perform in Pretoria during the Classics Is Groot–concert which will be held on July 30th. Classics Is Groot is a spin-off of Afrikaans Is Groot, the major concert series featuring (pop) music in the African (Afrikaans) language.
