Today, February 27th marks the start of the last of four consecutiv actions to celeberate the 10th anniversary of Foundation Gelukskinders. An enormous netballtournament, a new playground and two concerts were planned. A wonderful ballgown has been added to these targets set by boardmembers of the foundation and Amira herself of course. As Gelukskinders had to move the planned date forward for the netball tournament, due to schoolexams and holidays, another HUGE date came close. The patroness of the foundation, Amira, admired by many, celebrates her 21st birthday. Would you like to send her a birthday card? See the photo below. Cards must be received before March 18.
Two big milestones at once to celebrate.The three actions that went by, financed the tournament, the playgound, the ballgown and more than half of both concerts. Thank you all donors. Still the last jump to the top of the fourth mountain (see picture) has to be taken. Of course everything will go ahead as planned, but the Gelukskinders reserves are almost empty now. To complete the target of €40.000 at the start, still another €10.000 is needed to let Gelukskinders do its service to the children of Ikageng and the surrounding areas at the same speed.
